mom has just asked me if i can get her some duty free fags/tabs when i go next week. We are flying with thomson from manchester anyone know what sort of prices they are charging, i seem to remember they was cheaper on plane than shop. any ideas...??? just to give her rough idea. :confused3

Can't remember exact prices as we bought before we left :)

Seem to remember it being cheaper to buy on the plane but pretty certain they were limited to what they could provide :)

Being married to a *mega smoker* I can confirm that it's, definitely, still cheaper to buy from abroad than in the UK :thumbsup2

We don't smoke but bought 200 Benason and Hedges for a friend at manchester airport in May, They were £21.00 for 200.

However at Orlando International ciggies were much cheaper. They didnt have the B&h we had been asked to buy but they did have most other major brands at $18.00 so a major saving!!

If I were you I would hang off and buy at Orlando.

Thomson/Brittania have the cheapest duty free ciggies of any airline, think currently around £21 for 400!

Just bought 400 Superkings for my nanna last week onboard Thomson flight to Sanford - £22.49 inc 2.9% charge for cc. £15 for 200. Same price for all brands.
