Have only travel a couple of times. Trying to figure out the best way to be able to have alcohol at the resort. This is all for my Dad, he likes a particular rum (Bacardi Limon) and I really don't want to have to check it in our luggage.

I'm traveling YYZ (Toronto) to MCO. As I understand I will clear US customs in Toronto. Can alcohol be purchased at a duty free either before or after customs? How does it work? My understanding would be that I purchase it and it would then be delivered to the plane I was taking. Do I then take it on the plane?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, there are duty free stores after customs and security at Pearson where you can buy alcohol for personal consumption during your stay in the US. You show your boarding pass at the store and your purchase is delivered to your gate. You usually collect it from the delivery person after having your ticket scanned for boarding, but before you walk down the ramp to the plane. Just remember to allow extra time to shop once you're through the customs/security lines...

Perfect! Thanks for the info.
