Dusty at FW

Left the Fort this morning after seven days and I wondered if anyone else might have run into the same problem I had. Seems that when someone moves out, the crew comes in and cleans the site for the next camper. They use a powered leaf blower to blow off the drive and the dirt area behind the drive. When doing this, they kick up a pretty good dust storm in the area and I was constantly having to clean the outdoor stuff off. Yesterday the lady with the blower went to clean the site next to me and as the dust swallowed my camper, I turned in my chair and gave her a dirty look. Guess she got the message and started blowing in the other direction. I know its easier and faster to use the blower to clean the site, but there has to be a less dusty way.

Most loop attendants try to blow away from the next door sites and to the rear of the sites. The newer CM's either haven't been trained to do this, or simply don't care. The "Pixie Dust" at FtW has been thinning out over the years.

Remember my wish about Rhonda not having service in Desoto SP? I haven't seen any posts by her lol. DisneyCampers may be lurking though. I say we start a golf cart thread mu ha ha ha.

Are you going to the fort this weekend? I'm leaving tonight. Hopefully will meet Colson and a few others.

Guess my reply to a lady at MGM will fit nicely here then. While sitting on the stone wall outside the Rocking Roller Coaster, two young ladies sat down beside me. One turned and asked if her smoking would disturb me? Nope, just as long as my passing gass doesn't disturb you, I replied. For some reason they didn't light up. Guess they were worried about explosions.

Yep! My entire name (including first, middle, maiden & married, DH's full name & my four former & two current cats!) It's a well-cultivated art form I learned from the "master" - my Dad!

After 2 sons, my poor mother wanted a prissy, prim & proper little girl - - - she got a tomboy, instead! Yee-Haw!!
