Is it just as crowded as the summer? :confused3

I'm planning to go on the week of January 2nd-6th

I'm not planning to go on the weekends.

Thanks. :wave2:

Nooooo...during the time you're going it shouldn't be bad at all as alot of schools Christmas Breaks will be over by then. The week between Christmas and New Years is a BIG week but still very doable IMO!

just giving a head up here -- the ATL schools are still out that week--

xmas break dec 23 - jan 10 -- there is a teacher workday at the end

My kids don't go back unitl Jan 10 either...I think it's a "southern thing"! ;) But I still think the week after New Years is still a pretty good ,not too crowded ,week to go to WDW. :earsboy:

We found it crowded when the lights first were turned on in early December, then everyone left to go to Fantasmic and we practically had the lights to ourselves!

My family was there in Jan 2001 and the crowds were very low. I do remember that when they first turned on the lights for that night (maybe around 6? I can't remember), it became very crowded with people lining up at the entrance for the Osborne lights. I would recommend that you get back there a little early to beat some of the crowds. Hope you have fun! :wave2:
