Duration of Tickets - Resort Guest

Sorry if this has been asked previously, but my search didn't find anything.

If I book a WDW resort through its website, and I plan to stay 5 nights, do I buy a 5 day ticket or a 6 day ticket, assuming I want to hit the parks on the day I arrive, the day I leave, and every day in between?

For 6 days of park visits, you'll need 6-day tickets.

If you are planning to go both the day you arrive and the day you leave, you need a 6 day ticket.
