Duplicate thread errors? Anybody else getting them?

"This thread is a duplicate of a thread that you have posted in the last five minutes. You will be redirected to the thread listings."


This is the second time today this has happened to me. I try to post a new thread and get an error that it's a duplicate of one I posted in the last 5 minutes. But my thread is not there! Last time I kept trying to change the title or contents, but it still wouldn't let me post it. I finally opened a new window and created a totally different thread, and then edited to turn it into what I wanted in the first place.

Now it's happening again!

Is it just me?

YES!! This happened to me the other day w/ my "Deliverance" thread. I was screaming at the computer! LOL!

I have tried 4 times to post a new thread on the Restaurant Board and can't... I can post to threads but not start one =(

Yep. I tried several times to start a thread on the wishes board and finally got it posted earlier today. I wonder if all the "duplicates" will show up at some point?

Yes, it has happened to me more than once over the past few weeks.

What you can do is hit the back button and change the title to a very short title, such as "hello" and then immediately "edit" your post and change the title back to the original one.

Yes, if I have a very short title it will go through.

I ended up editing my post (left the title alone) and it went through. Weird, but it worked so I'm happy.
