Dumping out on a Trade

I have good experiences with trades between DIS, with very few bad experiences. This past week I had a trade posted and PM with accepts. Unfortunately, this person will not answer any PM's and is now bidding on the same item in a different thread.

I just don't think its good trade etiquette especially between DIS ppl. I have never failed through on a trade and hope others don't start doing the same.

Just wanted to know if you guys think I'm overreacting or if this happens all the time and I'm just not aware. It stinks especially when you've turned down other offers and offers through PM.

Just had to vent. :confused3

Unfortunately, this does happen. Best thing to do is just let it go and never trade with that person again. If it's happened with the same person more than once, I would report them to one of the moderators. Just because someone is a member of the Dis, does not make them any better than any other player, even though we like to think of the Dis as a 'family'.

As to whoever is backing out of a trade deal: Answer the pm with a simple, "Sorry, I've changed my mind." How hard is that? Lets the trader know to offer their item to the next person and doesn't make you look untrustworthy on another trade.
