Why was the ride down? My son is really looking forward to that!

They are doing a refurb of the ride, if I remember right, it will open back up in March. I am sure there is a refurb schedule around here somewhere....

Thanks for posting the link. That has to be one of the cutest pictures I have ever seen. In all our trips we have never see Dumbo in the parks before.

Just out of curiosity, is it some anniversary of Dumbo or something?

It seems like I'm finding him everywhere now in the stores, which is why I'm thinking "Hmmm....and now they have him in person" (of course, since his ride is down, that would make sense).

I was at the party store and saw "Baby's First Birthday" stuff with Dumbo on it (that was around October!) just kind of surprised me as I haven't seen Dumbo stuff out in general before (just Disney store, etc...) and then I saw some plushes elsewhere recently too.

Oh my goodness, he's adorable!!! I sure hope they make him a "regular" so I can see him while we're there in June. My boys ages 14 and 11 refuse to go on the ride but I can throw them by him for a picture!!! How can we find out if he's going to be out on a regular basis?
