With the advent of FP+, the play area and the additional spinner, would it be safe to say that a Dumbo FP+ would be a waste? We are there the last days April, first days of May with grandkids.

Thanks.

IMO yes, unless you want to skip the play area when the park is busy.

A fair warning for you though, we saw many tantrums when kids had to leave the play area to ride. I think they've almost done too good a job fixing that Dumbo line ;).

I thought the redo of Dumbo was a HUGE score for Disney!

Then they limited FP+ to only 3 in the MK so we'll never FP it again. We'll have to luck into a short standby or not go. Same thing for the Barnstormer, so not sure if we'll even take time to wander over there next time. :( And given the limit of 3 on FP+, we won't use our valuable rope drop time on it either.

Thanks for the replies.

Piggy backing on my own thread, would that also be true of the Mickey meet and greet by Tony's?

Can't speak for others, but I feel the same way about that one. They went from having it disconnected from the main FP system (like Dumbo) so everyone could be sure to do it, to having it cost one of only 3 available slots people can get in the MK.

On the up side, I have to think Mickey's FP return line is a lot shorter than before, so standby would be more efficient.
