:) Ok, here is my question, we leave Friday to fly into MCO then to the Disney Cruise! I have 2 snack size zip lock baggies with powered laundry detergent inside of them. Is this ok? My sarcastic husband said it looked like I was a drug dealer! :rotfl2: Has anyone had problems with this?

Also, I am reading that luggage should NOT be locked? :confused3 Is this true?

Thanks for your help!! :goodvibes

So long as it's allowed by the tsa, you are good. You can hit www.tsa.gov and look for the 311 for travellers and it will show allowed and not allowed..

If you lock you luggage ONLY use TSA approved locks, if you lock it, it will give people the idea something worthwhile might be in it. If you are just worried about the zipper maybe coming open, some folks take zip ties or even twistie ties like for garbage bags and just put those on the zipper.

Wife brings laundry detergent and coffee all the time in checked luggage. I always worry (coffee is often used to mask the scent of drugs) but we've never had a problem in over 50 trips.
