Do you have to be staying on site to take advantage of this? Do they ask for any confirmation or anything? Does it do drop offs at all of the hotels or just one general drop off and you walk a bit?
Does it show up at the airport or do you have to have it scheduled?

You do not have to be staying on site to use this bus. It does stop at several hotels. You do not need to reserve as it has a regularly scheduled run between the airport (not sure which airport you are flying into). This is a copy of the schedule/pricing info: HERE.

Have fun :thumbsup2

get away today added this to my package. what do I do? do i tell them when they pick me up? ( is there a voucher that we get from getaway today) when I leave back to the airport do I call them or is it pre set up with Get away today?

If you did this through getawaytoday you just need to board the DL Express. (Make sure you don't get conned into going on another shuttle) The DL Express is a large Greyhound bus with a large Disneyland Express on the side. You can't miss it. After you board, they will take you to the DL hotel parking lot where they will ask for you to buy tickets or exchange your voucher. They do this in the bus. Make sure that you keep your little return ticket and remember where you put it so that there won't be any tense moments when it comes time to leave. (speaking from experience ;)) They will have a schedule that they will pick you up on. Leave plenty of time for travel and airport check in.

Just a warning! There are these white 15 passenger van drivers that have a very similar name that stop at the same stop as the REAL Disneyland Express. If they don't see you with a voucher, they will try to tell you that they are the real thing and they are NOT. They might be a bit cheaper, but I wouldn't trust them!

Be safe; wait for the big bus with wrapped in Disney images. You don't have to pay ahead of time - they make a stop first at the Disneyland Hotel and take vouchers or payment for tickets.

I believe they run every hour early in the morning, then every half hour through early evening, and back to every hour at night.

It's a great way to get there and they stop at practically all the "close" hotels. Sometimes one stop may be for multiple hotels with them being so close together, so keep that in mind that you may have to walk a bit to get to your hotel from the stop but never very far.

We have taken the DL express both times we've been to DLR and never rent a car. We love it!

I made my ressies on line today. There is a $2 p/p savings if you book online.

Got a quick question do the disneyland express go near the budget on south harbor blvd? It is good to know that you donthave to go to the hotels, we are going to san diego first
Thanks

I want to add a ? that I know has been asked 100 times.... do I need carseats for my girls on the bus? TIA!

NO!!!!!! In fact DLE/Gray Line will make you put the seats in with the luggage. It is actually a regulation not to use the seats in a tour bus - actually safer for children to be on laps in those bus seats, as they do not have seatbelts or LATCH.

These are officially Giant Squishy Luxury Tour Bus Seats ....

Just a quick note, not all the buses are wrapped in Disney Characters. On our bus from LAX to Anaheim, it was just a plain white bus. Big bus, but plain white.

The white vans are not cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made this mistake last year! It was horrible!

Our bus was white also but we still knew it was the right bus. If there are other people at the bus stop just ask them if they are waiting for the Disneyland Express then get on the same bus they do. The last time we went we all put our kids on our lap so everyone could fit in the bus.... it was the 1st bus that wasn't full and actually stopped for us (2 full ones drove past us) we all wanted to get on.
