If I book now for next June, Fri and Sat night, and a better deal (code) becomes available, is it Disney policy to give me the better price, or am I better to wait until closer to the travel dates?

They will not change it automatically, you have to call them and have it changed, but they have to change it if it is available for your dates. If you go through Dreams Unlimited they do that for you

Definelty go ahead and book now if you want. If by chance a discounted package or code rate becomes available for your travel dates, you can always call back and apply that discount to the reservation you have already. Disney will not automatically give existing reservations a discount when it becomes available to the public. They make you do all the work You have to find it for them, and call them back with it, then they will apply it to your reservation. Keep in mind that you probably won't see dicounts for June 2004 until next April or so.
