Dumb question please read

Ok so last time I was in WDW was about 15 years ago and I remember going shopping at a place i think it was called disney marketplace, is it there? how do you get there from fort wilderness campground? Is that even the name of it? LOL

Not a dumb question at all...I think Downtown Disney is the current name of what used to be called the Disney Marketplace. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Yes, it's still there -- it's called DOWNTOWN DISNEY and it encompasses the Disney Marketplace as well as Pleasure Island and other areas.

Just hop on the Downtown Disney bus from Ft. Wilderness and you'll be there!

Downtown Disney Market place is on the right side of the map. Ft; wilderness is toward the upper right-hand corner.

From main exit of Fort Wilderness Resort turn left onto Vista Blvd. Follow down to first traffic light turning right onto Bonnie Creek Blvd. Follow to Buena Vista Drive where you will turn left. Follow Buena Vista drive to Downtown Disney Pleasure Island turn left at Entrance and follow signs to parking lot.

Yes, The Disney Village Marketplace is still there, but is only 1/3 of the Downtown Disney complex. Some of the same buildings are still the same, but the shops within them have changed. Also, Chef Mickey's which used to be there is now at the Contemporary. Rainforest Cafe is in its place.

You can get to Downtown Disney from Fort Wilderness by taking the bus.
