Dumb Question but...

This is a dumb question I know but... what does OT mean? All I can think of is: Occupational Therapist- which I'm pretty sure this doesn't stand for! Why is it listed at the beginning of some of the posts? Thanks!

Another one that tripped me up when I first started visiting message boards was IMHO = In My Humble Opinion ....it's a whole other language!

Thank you, but how do you remember what the acrimin stands for? At first, my husband was writing LOL in his texts to me and I thought the was saying lots of love. Who is the designator of this language? I always type everything out - names of resorts, restaurants, parks, etc. I just find it so confusing. And, no I am not that old - LOL!

I think those that invented it was those terrible teenagers Just kidding. I had to call my DD to explain what she was texting me, I was so.the first time(well really the first year) I still have to ask as they continue to invent new ones.

After a while you get to either know what they are or you just figure it out. On here it's fairly easy to just figure them out.

There is a dictionary of sorts someplace on here that explains what all the common ones are.

i know its bad! im constantly textign dh now and going on about this or that about disney...of course its all in disboards lingo so he goes what???? he's military and he has told me im now worse than he is for abbreviations!

Just the other night I was talking to someone about her trip to DL and some how ended up mentioning HoJo. I had to quickly say I mean Howard Johnson.
