i have a room only ressie and was thinking of paying it off before we leave. our ressie doesn't start until june 1st. can i still call and pay it off? or am i too close to my travel dates? i am pretty sure i read somewhere that there was a cutoff date for payment before the ressie starts. i know that if it was a package i would have had to have it paid off by 45 days out. and i know that i can just pay when i get there. but would really like to have it paid in full when i walk in the door. i will also be ordering our tickets for this trip but am getting AP's. i am thinking of doing will call. how does this work? please help me. lol...really this isn't my first trip. but this one i have really planned where before i just kind of flew by the seat of my pants. thanks for any help.

You can pay off your room before you get there I'm sure. I don't know about the passes. Sorry. I'm sure someone else can help you on the boards though.

thanks. but what is the cut off date that i can call and pay in full and not have any problems at check in? that is what i really need to know. also, if i order tickets for will call ~ i just show up at the ticket counter in front of MK and tell them i already paid for tickets? i assume i will have a confirmation number for those. thanks! trying not to use a credit card while we are there and my DBF is very concerned about having that much cash on us.

With packages it is required to have the whole thing paid off in advance (45 days)

I don't think there is a cutoff day to pay in advance for a room only. I can't see why they wouldn't allow you pay it off ahead of time when they allow you to pay it at check in.

Absolutely not a problem to pay in full for your room only reservation before you check in. It's super easy and there isn't a cut off date. You can prepay in full at the desk when you check-in, the day before through CRO, six months ahead, at check-out - it's up to you entirely. After you pay the one night deposit, for room only, it is at your discretion when you want to pay the balance as long as it's paid in full by the time you check-out.
I also understand that you can pay for your AP in full before you leave and you will be sent a voucher to exchange for your AP at guest services. The AP year will not start until you pick up your AP. I asked about this the other day when I called CRO and that's what I was told.
Hope this helps!

You can pay off your room balance before you leave. Just call Disney to do that.

For the annual passes, you might still have time to get the vouchers sent to you. It's only May 5th now and you aren't leaving until June 1st. I think it's about ten days to process the vouchers. If nothing else, you can get them express mailed to you for an additional fee (last time I did this was $10).

And to clarify when the annual pass starts, it will start when you ACTIVATE the pass. Meaning turning in the voucher at a park guest relations window and picking up the true pass. It will not start when you receive it in the mail. It will not start on the day you first use it. It's when you ACTIVATE it.

Will call is great-but have the Credit Card you used to buy them with-big problems if you don't. We went last week and I bought my dads pass and chose will call and it wasnt in the system yet when we arrived the next day-thankfully I had the credit card otherwise-SOL and they would mail you a refund or a voucher.

Disney isn't MAKING you pay for your entire stay ahead of time? I can't believe it!!!:rotfl2:
