Just trying to plan for the different possibilities.:rolleyes1:rolleyes1 Was the 4/3 a package deal only (room, tickets) or could it also be room only?

It was buy four nights of hotel and tickets and get three night of hotel & tickets free. If you went by March 29, you also got a $200 gift card. You had to buy the hotel and the tickets. There was a way to utilize the deal for less than a week - it involved buying one days' worth of tickets and still get the gift card, but I'm fuzzy about the details.

And if you wanted the dining plan you paid for the entire stay...

You had to buy at least a one day ticket, but no certain ticket was required. The deal is better phrased "Buy at least 4, get up to 3 free with room and tickets."

I've posted THIS link before (it helped me); it's about the 4/3 deal from when it first came out.

I am so hoping for the 4/3 deal! I really want to stay at the Boardwalk next year! :cool2:

I knew there was not free dining for campsites, but thought a room discount like the 7 for 4 deal we would get, Disney would lose less in a campsite deal vs hotel room

Disney campsites are really cheap. They have no problems keeping them booked, so deals are not necessary. How many resort rooms, at which resorts, over what days are always based on a need to fill rooms. It's more of a something is better than nothing for Disney. In the case of campsites, it would be giving away at a discount what they can get full price for, so the campsites would actually lose them more money than any resort room.

You mean you pay for the dining plan for the entire stay, right?
Correct. You paid for 4 nights' hotel room, but 7 nights' dining plan. If you booked for more than 7 days, you got 3 nights' hotel room free, but paid for all nights for the dininjg plan.

Do the days have to be continuous? We're planning a split-stay with a Disney cruise in the middle. We'd be staying for up to 7 days at a resort, but it would be three days at a resort, cruise, then 3-4 days at a resort.

Thanks!

Hi! I'm just wondering when Disney announced this deal last year, so I'll know when to check for it for next year. Thanks! :goodvibes

Yes, the days have to be continuous, under one reservation. A split-stay is just two reservations for your one trip.

Nov. 5th or 6th. I know I booked on the 6th, but don't know if I booked the day it came out or the day after.
