Dumb question about ADRs

I've booked a few ADR's for lunch, but none for dinner because honestly if my son decides not to nap, I'm not wasting a hundred bucks on a character dinner that he'll be cranky through. But if he does nap, then he'll be great for a big dinner.

So, let's say I have an ADR for 5:00 for Chef Mickey. If at 3:00 I know he's not going to nap and I need to head back to the hotel rather than out to dinner, is it okay to cancel? Even if with only a two hour notice? Would they charge me or something? If it's a meal like Chef Mickey where they don't take your charge card when you make the ressie?

We didn't do any ADRs last year, but we're trying it out this year. Thanks for helping a first-timer. :)

It is no problem at all. And no they will not charge you. They take into consideration that people may change their plans at any given moment. Vacations do not have to follow any schedule, so go ahead and cancel if you want. :thumbsup2

That would be fine.

We once made a dinner ressie at Marrakesh because we did really want to go... but it was during the Food and Wine Festival... and we had just eaten all around the world :goodvibes We didn't think we could fit any more in ourselves so we called up and it was no problem. :wizard:
