Am I to understand that we can visit Downtown Disney and the resort restaraunts and such without using our park hopper tickets(We are staying off site)?

If that's true, is there a parking lot for Downtown Disney, we are planning on renting a car. The reason I am asking is we only have a 3-day park hopper so we have a couple of extra days.

Sorry if this is a really silly question

Downtown Disney and Restaurants on-site don't require any tickets. Parking is free at downtown disney.

:) No question is silly, if we don't ask questions how will we learn anything?

Right you don't need to use your park hopper if going to Downtown Disney or want to try a resort restaraunt. Yes there is a parking lot for Downtown. However if you want to go to Disney Quest then you will have a charge(sorry don't know how much), also if you want to go to any of the clubs at PI at night there is also a charge for that(again I don't know how much).

There are no silly questions! :D

The answer is Yes. DD has a huge parking lot. If you know where you are going at DD, park as near as you can to that particular place; otherwise, park in the middle. Enjoy!

Thank you all so much. We are very much looking forward to our trip! ;)

Welcome to the DIS . . . there are lots of friendly folks here to help you have the best possible trip. There's no better place than these boards to ask questions!!

No question is "silly" . . . I'm sure there are others who were wondering about that same thing, but just didn't want to ask. The parking lot at Downtown Disney can get congested so be patient . . . you may have to drive around a little to find a spot.

And yes, you may dine at any of the resort restaurants. Sometimes it's more convenient to drive directly to the resort (we always eat at the Poly our first night), but if you're already at a park serviced by the monorail, it may be easier to just hop the monorail to get to the resort.

Does this include the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at the Wilderness Lodge? That is something we wanted to do and thought we were going to have to do it on a day we actually visited the park.

Welcome to the DIS. I started asking "silly" questions 1200 posts ago and haven't stop writing yet!!;)

Getting into Pleasure Island will cost you about $21. It is included with some passes. I thought that Disney Quest was about $30 but I couldn't find a price real quick. Again entry here may be included with some passes. We mention these two places because they are located in/close to DTD and not everyone realizes that there is an extra charge for entrance.

You can enjoy the restaurants at the resorts. You may get stopped at the gates of some resorts just let them know you are going for dinner, you may want to make a Priority Seating(PS) arrangement. You can call 1-407-939-3463.

Have Fun!

PS You do not need a park pass to do Hoop-De-Do, a personal favorite!

Welcome to the Dis!! Like the others said, no question is dumb around here. We are here to help. :) Just ask away!

You will not to use up a day of your park hopper pass to do Hoop Dee Doo. It's located at the Fort Wilderness Campground. Not sure about the cost of parking, though, if you are staying off site.
