Dumb Newbie Question!!

Kind of a different name for the same thing. I think "Advanced Dining Reservation" makes people think it is more like a real reservation, and maybe they don't blow them off so easily as they did when it was just a "priority seating".
 
Diane provided a good answer for you. I think it was a mistake, personally, because by using the word "reservation", people have expectations that they will be seated at their "reserved" time. In fact, it is still Priority Seating and you only get preference to walk-ups, not a guarantee of a seating time.
 
If you are on the DDP you should make ADR"S.
