Dumb Carryon Toiletry Question

Ok I've read and re-read the FAA list. I just want to make sure Im getting this right. Solid Deoderants are allowed in your carry-on correct? But if it's a solid or gel deoderant it must be 3 oz and in the zip lock bag.

Just wanna double check. Im starting to worry about what has to go in the zip lock and if it''ll fit. haha

A solid deoderant can be any size in your checked luggage without the zip loc bag.

A GEL deoderant has to be 3.4 oz or less and in your zip loc bag.
