We have a flight from Manchester to Dulles Internation (IAD) and then on to Orlando.

Our layover time is less than 1 hour! So I'm a little bit worried here that we will make our plane.

Two questions:

1) Has IAD finished with their reservations. Is getting from concourse to concorse easier? Or do you still have to take those silly buses?

2) We are on a United Express plane - does anyone know which concourse that goes into? Usually there is a standard concourse for smaller planes.

3) If we miss our connecting flight - how do I let Magical Express know?

1. Not exactly on topic but it would be a lot easier getting from concourse to concourse via those silly buses if the airport ran them more often.

3. If you are expecting to get into Orlando before 10 PM the same day, or if you expect to get in early, or if you get there more or less on time but dilly dally at the food court, then you don't really have to let Magical Express know.

(1) You don't say when you're flying, but as of now, the AeroTrain system hasn't started running, so the "mobile lounges" are still in use.

(2) Looking at today's flights, United Express flights from Manchester arrive at terminal A, and flights to Orlando depart from terminal C/D. So you will need to ride on a mobile lounge.

Thanks! We are leaving tomorrow. I figured that the Express would come into concourse A. Ok - Mobile lounges it is... Does A connect directly to C or D?

Mobile lounges run from A to both C and D. Because C and D are connected, it is possible that a shuttle to C might actually get you where you're going faster than a shuttle to D, even if your gate is in D (and vice versa). It depends on exactly where the gate is, when the next shuttle departs, etc. A Dulles map which shows gates and shuttle routes can be found at http://www.metwashairports.com/_/File/_/shopdulles.pdf.
