This is way ot but I am looking for an email address or phone number to get into contact with a higher up at Duke Energy. I am trying to get power intalled at my new house and I am getting the run around and all we get to talk to is the general customer service people. I need a number or email address of somebody that I can talk to that can help us. Somebody that I can file a complaint with. I am in NC if that helps any. I have looked on the net and I can't find a phone number or address. I called the number that was listed as the corp number and it sent me to a customer service rep. Somebody please help me!! The customer service rep won't give me a different phone number or email. I need help please!!!!

Is this the only energy company in your town? When I had problems with Jacksonville Electric Authority and some billing issues, I emailed the mayor out of frustration. Lo and behold, I received a phone call the next day the problem was fixed.

I'd call customer service and ask for the phone number for corporate and the e-mail address of the CEO (James E. Rogers).

Oh yeah Duke Energy is the only bet where I live. I don't live on the right side of the county to be able to use another company.

I asked customer service for a phone number or email address of the President or CEO and she told me they didn't have one listed. I find that really hard to believe. I also called the number that is supposed to be for the corp office and it was one of the not so helpful customer service reps that answered the phone. I am going to try again in the morning and see if I get another answer. I even called the other number listed and it is for the investor line. Heck my dad has some Duke energy stock when he died and my brother and I got it when my mom died so maybe they can help me. I seriously doubt it. I am just soo frustrated. All I want is my power hooked up. I know it will take them a little work running the lines but dang it I need my power hooked up so I can move into my new house. My advice is to never ever buy a house this time of year. It is way too stressful and I don't think I would do it ever again.
