DUI and College Program

I got a DUI on 4/5 after being accepted to the program. I am awaiting court to see what charges are going to come onto my record. I have hired a lawyer so hopefully something good comes from it. I plan on calling Disney after I get everything finalized. Anyone know about doing the CP and having a DUI? Also I blew a .081

Chances are high that more than one in that 60,000 has a DUI.

Just be upfront and honest about it.

If the background check you consent to comes back with something like that and you hadn't previously disclosed it, there's a compelling case for immediate termination. You'll want to be upfront about it.

Well that stinks!! Hope it works out for you....just be upfront and honest! But seriously.......drinking and driving? Not too responsible!! You got to remember.....you could have really injured or even killed someone out on the road. We have also taught our daughter about the dangers of drinking and driving. We told her if she is ever in a situation, to call us...any time day or night. No questions ask. We would rather her home safe and sound. Its just not worth it. She has called my husband and I once last summer at 3am to pick her up. Yes, we were sleeping, but couldn't be upset with her because we told her what to do! Good luck in court!
