There's a store near Ariel's Grotto in CA that seems to have the most stuff for Duffy.

I bought my big Duffy at Treasures in Paradise, right across from Ariel's Grotto in DCA. The Duffy meet and greet is right there as well. So you can buy a Duffy and see Duffy all in one shot!

Build a bear has them also... some stores across the country have them too. They are slightly different than the "Duffy" one but really pretty neat.

Ohh that makes me happy! I had gone on Ebay- just looking for some Disney stuff and they had some pretty crazy prices for Duffy and his outfits. Thank you everyone!

Is Duffy Mickey's teddy bear from classic movies, or is he a brand new character Disney is trying to introduce? Duffy seemed to have come out of no where. I'm very confused by him. Very very cute, and im very much pro Duffy, but i'm just a little stumped.

Several years ago, (at least 6, since that is when I bought one for DS) the launched a "Mickey Bear" which was super cute. It came in all kinds of colors. I guess not everyone thought they were supercute, because by the next year when I wanted to get one for my new niece, they were gone. But then in '09, they were back. (My son got a new one, and they are still in the "bedside animal" patrol.) then, like Disney magic, they vanished again.
Apparently, when they vanished from our stores, they appeared in Japan, and are a super hit. So Disney wants to try... AGAIN... to make us love him.
Some do, some don't. Obviously, we do.
And the story changed. the old disney bears came with a story (that I liked better) that Mickey was in his house in Toontown and wanted to explore the magic kingdom, so Tinkerbell gave his teddy bear a sprinkling of pixie dust and he came to life, and they had all kinds of adventures. The new story is that Mickey left to sail the seven seas, so Minnie made him a bear to keep him company.

The large Duffy is $60. He is soooo cute and fluffy!

ETA: they still had them as of Feb 28th (when I got mine)

That's just really really cute. Teddy bears that come with stories. What a great idea. Even if the story changed 100 times, then Duffy goes on a grand adventure doesnt he?

We saw Duffy at the Meet and Greet outside of Ariel's Grotto. Poor Duffy...nobody knows who he is, so nobody wanted to meet him! He had to go run around on the boardwalk to get people to come and visit him!

No. The clothes all fit the smaller Duffy.

There are rumors that duffy & Mickey are going to share a meet & greet at the new gazebo in DCA so that should get him some flow and introduce him to more people if it is true.
