There are a couple of factors that may be why VB is higher. For one, the resort is very small. You still have all the amenities like the pool, tennis courts, restaurants, etc., etc. but you have fewer members to spread the cost around. Also, Vero is directly on oceanfront property. I don't know for sure, but I would assume the property tax is higher. Insurance costs may also be higher.
If someone wants to give me the line-by-line breakout (housekeeping, etc., etc.) for HHI dues, I'll compare it to Vero and see what comes up.
For starters, 2003 property tax at Vero is $0.5251. Anyone know HHI?
