Dues for add-on

We are doing a 50 pt. add-on to our AKV contract. We currently have our dues drafted monthly. Does anyone know if they will be able to combine the dues for all of our points into one draft each month, or will it be 2 drafts now?

There will be 2 auto-debits. You may need to contact Member Accounting to set this up - they may not do it automatically - but it can be done.

If they are the same contract and this is just an add-on, you'll get one debit from your account. If it is a different UY (meaning a new contract), you will get a separate debit from your account.

It is not a separate contract. We are just adding 50 pts. from Disney directly, same use year, etc. I was thinking it wouldn't be a big deal to have the dues combined in one draft. The guide I spoke to (not ours, because he is on vacation) said I could call Member Accounting and have them do it, but he sounded like he wasn't actually SURE it could be done. ;)

Sorry, I was incorrect above - financing for the add-on would be done as a separate auto-debit but, as Deb & Bill stated, the additional dues will just be added to the auto-debit you already have. I would still contact Member Accounting to be sure it's set up that way but it should not be any problem.

Ah, very good. I will give them a call just to confirm that they plan to combine the dues in one draft. We get 2 free withdrawals per month, so it would be better to consolidate them if at all possible to avoid service fees.

Wow, you get charged for withdrawals? Sounds like you should consider another bank.

:rotfl2: This is a separate account we set up exclusively for our DVC stuff. It is a free account, no minimum balance, no monthly service fee - VERY basic. It includes 2 free withdrawals per month - anything more than that will result in a $3 service fee.

I spoke to both Member Accounting and Quality Control and they BOTH told me it will be separate drafts. The Quality Control lady said depending on the bank sometimes they will lump the drafts together so it looks like one. The only way to know for sure is to wait for the first dues draft from the add-on and see how it hits.

Whatever. We need more points. ;)
