Is Jelly Rolls at the BWI suitable for children (ages 6 & 10), or is it more of a bar atmosphere?

No, sorry, not suitable because it's in an adult nightclub. They won't even let kids in there are at all...have to be 21 yrs. old to get into Jellyrolls Club.

And there's a cover charge at Jellyrolls of $10 per person. I think it opens at 7pm, but I don't think the entertainment starts until about 8pm. I don't remember for sure, as I have usually arrived after the show started.

Jellyrolls is definitely adult entertainment! Just ask them to sing "Joy to the World!" if you offend easily... dont go in this place!

When we were there in January, there was no popcorn!

Not sure if it is permanent thing or just on the nights we were there!

You'd think that the price per popcorn per person would be more than justified by the number of drinks that were consumed as a result of the popcorn.

I know! We were very disappointed on the 2 nights we were there in January that there was no popcorn.

We are big fans of Elliot at the Scat Cat Club and he does not just do Jazz and Dixieland - in fact he does very little jazz and dixieland - he mostly does oldies (Elvis, Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, Jimmy Buffet - a wide variety) and takes requests. He is very personable and interacts with the audience. In fact, people including kids will get up and dance to his music.

Jellyrolls sounds like my kinda place! Looking forward to going.
Will also be sure to check out some of the other places where the kids will be able to go as well. We all love that kind of atmosphere.

Jellyrolls has become sort of an "addiction' for my husband and I!

We are not big drinkers nor do we frequent bars at home.

BUT, we have SOOOO much fun and we find ourselves staying until 1-2 am! The piano players are so talented and funny. I just hope I never get picked to be on stage!

We go again next month and cannot wait to go back. We purposely stay at the Boardwalk just so we can go to Jellyrolls most evenings. (We obviously don't have children!!)
