Yes it will be open cause we were there in june and it was up and running
They just moved the entrance

I haven't seen any official announcement from Universal regarding the closing date. I doubt it will close before the first of the year. You should be good.

Most of the rumors indicate that the last time you will be able to ride the coasters as "Dueling Dragons" will be during this Holiday Season, pretty sure after the holiday festivities are over it will be transformed.

Is the whole Lost Continent area going to be closed so that Poseidon's Fury and the Sinbad show will also be closed? Is Harry Potter area going to replace the whole Lost Contient Island or just the part back where the Dueling Dragons is located?

WWoHP will be a new land that will include some of the old Lost Continent area. The LC will still be there but on a smaller scale. Those two shows should continue on w/o interruption.
