Dueling Dragons at Epic Universe?

Has anyone floated the idea of the dragon coaster at Epic Universe being the actual Dueling Dragons coaster? I mean, why not? They have re-themed and re-purposed it before. It was still a great ride right up until the day they closed it.

It could easily be revamped into a "How to Train Your Dragon" theme or something - though I realize, it is a pretty serious coaster for an IP generally targeted at younger people.

I'm not sure if anyone knows the details of if they have already sold or reused it in some way, but this seems plausible to me.
Let's not forget that it was originally designed for Animal Kingdom in the first place! :-)

Don't think it's going to happen.

In the concept art we do see a new "dueling" coaster off the hub , but it looks designed more like a "racing" coaster (tracks are side by side as opposed to having spots coming at each other).

I'm sure they're looking to avoid the chance for injury like what previously happened with Dueling Dragon's, which led them to stop having the coasters "Duel" when it became Dragon Challenge and the cars didn't go at the same time anymore.

With metal detectors and lockers

I actually know nothing about any of this but I’m hoping that Train Your Dragon is similar to Flight of Passage.

The coaster on the concept art looks like it'll be different and I'm excited for something new & potentially more exciting.

Yeah, I have a feeling it will be more of a racing concept than dueling. Dueling Dragons will always be one of my most favorite coasters I've ever been on, as the "dueling" concept was a unique thrilling experience and I enjoyed the queue a lot as well. However, that was lost when the rides no longer dueled and had to lock everything away in your lockers.

In the end, even if I felt the need to ride it every one in awhile just knowing that it's days were numbered, I wouldn't even touch it unless it was first thing when the park opened, because after that, the locker area was flooded with people looking for lockers and even more surrounding that area, since those lockers were originally created as an option, not a requirement.
