Oh how sad - hadn't seen any news since I got in from work.

poor soul - I think it must have been a blessed relief he had become so ravaged by his illness.

........ I'm really sorry to hear it, sorry too that he suffered such a dreadful cruel illness. I watched a documentary that was made about him..... was it about six months ago now? It was awful to see how he was degenerating.

Yes its a shame, but he had been ill for a long time. I remember him with Peter Cook.
