Cast-DH, 6yr old dd's (twins) and myself. This was our second trip to the world. The first part of our trip was spend just outside Atlanta staying with some great friends. We drove from RI to Atlanta, then from Atlanta to Disney. We did Six Flags over Georgia and White Water. Let me just say they can't hold a candle to Disney. While I would expect not everyone to be cheerful, it was certainly more the exception than the rule to catch an employee smiling at Six Flags. I'm glad we went there first! So onto Disney. The girls didn't know we were going to Disney. We told them our friend had gotten called back to work and we wouldn't be able to stay with them. We told them we would stop at a hotel w/ a pool. We just neglected to tell them *where* the hotel w/a pool would be.
They girls didn't figure it out until we actually pulled up to the main gate at MK. One dd's mouth just dropped. The other was jumping as much as she could in her booster seat (their petite little ladies). First tip....if you are driving to WL (or any MK resort) stay to the far right at the main gate entrance to MK. The resort entrances are right after the main gate on the right. We didn't know this and had to drive down to the MK parking lots and circle around. We checked in at WL w/no problem.(There's more WL detail at the WL FAQ thread if interested). We ate at WC that night, very good service and food. Headed over to Epcot in monsoon rains! We were able to do Spaceship Earth and Honey I Shrunk the Audience w/ no lines. Turned in early,we were tired from the drive.

last exit in GA on rt. 75 $1.17
