DU vs. WDW pkg. ressies

I just got a quote from Dreams Unlimited. It was the exact same $ amount as was quoted directly from WDW. What advantages are there to booking with DU, other than making PS?

Sometimes they will offer special incentives for booking through them. Beverage mugs, rebates, etc. I really don't know if they have any right now or not.

I'm not surprised that there is nothing out there different than booking through WDW right now. With the new packages, Disney feels they are giving you the best price they can.

I did find one loop-hole however...We really don't need MYW passes, but wanted to get the dining plan, so I entered the dates, selected a 1 day MYW pass, and could add the dining for all of the nights of our package. It seems silly for us to pay for the passes, but there is just 1 adult, and 1 child and we really will save a ton on food using the dining.

I like knowing that they are taking care of the Priority Seatings for me. I like knowing that whenever I have a question, I can get a quick email response. I don't really enjoy talking on the phone that much LOL, and prefer the email correspondence, so it works out perfect for me. They also will watch for discounts that I might miss, so that is also a plus. And, more that anything, if I am going to pay the same exact price, why not let another disney fan make a little bit of commission?

With any of the excellent Disney specialist agencies (I've used Dreams and Dream Come True Vacations), they offer services above and beyond what Disney would offer, all free of charge.

I like the fact that I can book now, and if a discount comes out for my dates, they will adjust my ressie to the new discount, saving me money automatically. Sure, you could do it yourself - its up to you.

I like DU because I can focus on what I would like to do and let someone else handle the how. For example, on our last trip we wanted to do CRT on my DD's birthday. Unfortunately her birthday was on our last full day and I didn't want to risk missing out. Beth at DU not only got us a safety PS for our first full day, she also got us one for DD's birthday and then canceled the first PS for us. I can imagine how hard that would be for me to do, not to mention the long distance charges.

I also don't have to be searching for discount codes, DU does that for me. I just have to let them what my I am willing to do (do I have AAA, am I willing to buy an AP) and they will let me know what the options as they come up.
