DU and DCL gave same price, I'm comfused

Im sure that it does depend on when you are cruising. I heard from alot of people about the great deals they have gotten at DU so I too got a quote. They didnt beat DCL this time, but I will continue to check with them before I book any future cruises.

You can check the price daily but unless you know the codes you won't get the price decrease. I booked a 4 night in October 1999 through DCL and paid premium price. Come to find out not only were they running a Fall Fantasy special but a Florida residents special as well which I didn't get. Even if I would have known about the discounts and called for them doesn't mean I would have gotten them though. They only sell a certain amount at that price. DU automatically books you in oneas soon as the code comes out- so you are guaranteed to get the discount.
