How do you think is the best way to get there using Disney Transportation? Any other suggestions? How much is the taxi ride, and where would they drop you off?

According to Laughing Place's Transportation Wiz:

Downtown Disney® Area -to- Magic Kingdom® Park

Downtown Disney® Area Transportation & Ticket Center Magic Kingdom® Park : 50 mins.

Downtown Disney® Area Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside Magic Kingdom® Park : 44 mins.

Downtown Disney® Area Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter Magic Kingdom® Park : 39 mins.

* Add 5-10 minutes at each segment wait time for transportation.

I would not take a taxi to MK. They will drop you off at the ticket center area anyway. I would take a bus to one of the MK resorts and use the monorail. Not sure what time of the day the bus would start running from DD to the resorts.

Well, the first option doesn't exist anymore, and hasn't existed for at least 5 years.

The next two options are a little strange. The SAME bus takes you to both resorts and the SAME bus picks you up to get you to MK. Why would the times be different?

Your best option is to take the CR bus and then walk to MK.

If you end up taking a taxi, take it to CR and walk to MK.

Go to any resort and take the bus to MK. It will let you off close to the entrace to MK.

I thought it sounded strange...I've never taken the DTD bus to anywhere but back to a resort. We'll be going to DTD for the afternoon and eating late lunch at the House of Blues before MNSSHP, so I guess we'll just go back to the resort - which happens to be POFQ, lol! - and take the bus to MK.
Thanks!
