DTD to CM travel time?

We will be taking a bus to the Contemporary from DTD for an ADR at CM. How much time should I allow for the bus?

At least an hour - maybe a little more if it is at a busy time. In August, we went from DTD to Poly and it was close to an hour. The bus picks up at the Marketplace and then moves to the Westside so it is like being on a very slow loop. From there it does drop off at CR first so that is helpful.

I would allow at least an hour because for whatever reason the buses from Downtown Disney to the Magic Kingdom Resorts seem to take forever. Now if you don't mind the extra cost you could take a taxi to the Contemporary, because from Downtown Disney it's about a 15 minute ride.

Thanks! I will plan for at least an hour. Our ADR is at 6:35pm so I think we will leave DTD at around 5pm. Does that sound good for travel, getting to CM and being there 15 mins before ADR?

Yes that does sound like a good plan.

I agree with this statement. I can't pinpoint a reason, but the buses from the Magic Kingdom resorts to Downtown Disney really feel interminable. I always wind up falling asleep, waking up, looking at my watch and feeling shocked about how much time passed!
