Has anyone ever been? How is the quality? What is the price range? Are there coupons? I just saw the place online tonight and I think my boys would be interested. We leave in 25 hours!!

Both of my boys made a RC car...I believe they were each in the $100 range but we had either a $20 of or 20% off (which is the same) so they ended up being about $80, but they also opted for a few extras like mud tires instead of normal tires. I think you could probably get away with getting one for around $40-$60.
A word to the wise, Disney security is super tight about not letting them take the cars out of the box anywhere on Disney property...We got outside of the store and the first thing the boys wanted to do was take them out and look at them (and maybe take them for a spin :thumbsup2) but security was on them like white on rice, which is understandable. No one wants to be hit on the ankle by a RC car, there is enough ankle bashing from strollers around DTD, :rotfl:

Anyway, just a thought :-) Have fun on your trip

I don't think you can get out of there for less than $50 - and that's for not many extras. My DH took DS there last week to build a car and came out $120 poorer but with an RC Lightning MCQueen and big smiles on both their faces. DH let DS build it pretty much however he wanted, though - I think you could get out of there for less and still have a pretty cool car.

If you sign up for Groupons for Anaheim/Orange County you might find a coupon - they seem to have them from time to time - usually I think it's $30 for $15 or $50 for $25.

We went there last week and priced a few things. It seemed very expensive with no discounts. They gave out some kind of "dog tag" when you spend $25 but that's really not worth it. The cars are great and saw tons of kids with them, and a few at the Grand Californian playing with them. The car alone is like 25 - 50 and plus the $25 remote and then extra batteries and things. We passed.

If you "like" them on facebook you can get couplns regularly. You can also build a non RC car for much cheaper than the RC versions...
