Hi All! Going with my sis in Oct. Have not been to DTD in 23 Years! First day at the world we want to go over for a couple of hours (main reason is to stop at the Hess station across the street for snacks, beer etc). I am looking for a semi casual restaurant that has seating outside. Would we be able to just order the lobster and crab bisque each and sit on the deck of Fulton's? Or is it very upscale and that would be frowned upon?

I would do Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich. Both offer outdoor seating and great food options.

We gotten Appetizers/Starters at the bar at Fulton's in the past. We sat out and ate on the deck one year. The other it was rainy so we ate in the bar.
We didn't seem to be the only ones doing it.

I would suggest Paradiso 37. They have a great deck on the water. A great bar and plenty of apps to delight!

I agree. We went here this past spring and LOVED it. We are somewhat picky, being from Manhattan and all- and we really enjoyed the drinks, food, and entertainment (there was a guy playing the guitar and a band I think at some point). It was great!

Yes. We love Paradiso. But you can order whatever you want if you decide to try Fultons!

We have ADRs for Paradiso 37 during our upcoming trip and we are very excited about trying it. I am hoping to get a seat outside on the deck so we can have a great view of the water. OP, I also agree with the PP that suggested EoS, we love this place and it is in a great area where you can sit and people watch as you enjoy one of their amazing sandwiches :goodvibes.

Are you on DDP? If so, I would not use credits at Fulton's. It's 2 TS credits per person and if that's all you are ordering, it would be a waste. But if you aren't on DDP, I think that should be acceptable!

Personally, I would not recommend Fulton's -- especially if you're paying out of pocket. Maybe it's b/c I had just come back from Portland OR and was fresh off a culinary high afeter eating wonderful, fresh, and properly cooked seafood. I had the cioppino at Fulton's our first night. The scallops, shrimp and fish were all overcooked and the pasta was tepid. It was all just terribly blah in my experience.

Had seen a picture of HOB's Lobster and Mac and am thinking of trying there. Plus I just signed up with restaurant.com and might get a certificate for HOB's. Anybody have any reviews? Is there outdoor seating?:)

I agree. The seafood at Fultons was a joke.
