We are WDW DTD veterans, but are doing our first trip to DLR in April. We are staying at Ho Jo's and plan to walk to the parks. What route would we follow to get to DTD. Can we walk there without having to enter the parks. Does any have any reviews on the Jazz Kitchen? Are there any clubs similar to Jellyrolls ?
thanks

You don't have to enter the parks, but you do go the same way as if you were going to the parks. YOu have to go through the bag check/security and walk right through the promenade, once you are through the security on the West side, you are into DTD...

Sorry I haven't eaten at the Jazz kitchen..

You do walk thru security so keep that in mind but you do not have to enter either park to get to DTD. We really liked the Jazz Kitchen, that and RFC are our DTD faves. :)

Jazz Kitchen has southern cooking and they sometimes have live entertainment. It is an excellent series of restaurants. There is the quick serve with to die for beignets and sandwiches, the main floor with table service, the bar area, and upstairs is the finest dining. I have not eaten upstairs but got to sit at the bar when they had a live jazz ban, what a night.

I don't think the menu for upstairs at Jazz Kitchen is different than the one for downstairs. There are just different rooms to eat in. We ate upstairs once when we didn't have kids and last time we went we ate right near the stage and the offerings were the same. The live music was great and the food is wonderful. The chocolate bread pudding is to die for!!

No clubs at DTD here. I would check the schedule for House of Blues, though. They have some really fun concerts.
