Since the MTW ticket prices are not significantly higher when you are purchasing 7 days or 8 days, I decided to get 8 park days. Usually when we go to WDW we "start" our holiday the day after we arrive & go to DTD on arrival day. My question is...since I have tickets for all the days we will be at Disney..is there any reason to (or not to) skip DTD? Our kids are young so we do not do DQ or PI. We've been there 4 times so my kids have played with the legos & such.

We are at POR & I keep hearing that the boat service there is a nice ride. Not sure if its a waste of time or not.

It may not be worth it if they are too young for DQ. The Lego store is part of Disney Marketplace, which is the free side of DTD. PI and DQ are the only parts of DTD which have an entry fee and where your MYW card has value. I'd say go to a park instead, at least if you're concerned about using the passes. Shopping around Marketplace is fun, although I don't know how much there is to do really for young kids.

Sorry, I didn't mention we have no pluses on the MYW ticket..just park hoppers.

We also would go to DTD on our arrival day and usually once again towards the end of the trip. We save most of our shopping for last and that way we could see what we really wanted, especially DD. I like spending alot of time in the stores. :)
