DTD Question

WOO HOO, we are 19 days and counting until we are back at WDW. We usually stay at CSR, but will be staying at POFQ this time. My question is, at DTD Marketplace, I know that boat dock was down as part of the refurbishments, is it sill down, and if you take the boat from POFQ to DTD, will it take you to the Westside of DTD? Thanks so much, and am looking forward to some fun and relaxation. My mom was on life support for seven weeks after becoming critically ill on April 21st, and will be coming home tomorrow after three months in the hospital. So this is a celebration of life trip for us, and when she is physically able, she will be going back with us.

Gosh, I'm sorry about your mom, but hopeful she has a wonderful recovery.

The Marketplace dock is still down, at least until the pedestrian bridge is finished. For now, the boat from POR/POFQ stops at the Pleasure Island dock. It's what I would call the dock in the center of DTD. It's just to the east of the "Characters in Flight" balloon. There is boat service from the Pleasure Island dock to the West Side dock. Thanks so much for the information. My mom has made an amazing recovery, she just needs to get her strength back which will take time, but she is doing very well. We are so blessed she is still with us.

Enjoy your stay! I'm counting down over 2 months, but started planning a year out. So it seems like our trip is just around the corner. Anyway, hope mom can join you on your next trip. I love POR/POFQ best.
