With old costumes and shoes, Disney donates directly to Goodwill and other thrift stores.

Really? That's surprising. I'm amazed that Disney wouldn't look at the profit to be had from those items. Disney was doing their own ebay auctions for a long time - not sure if they still do - and they'd sell of park items, costumes, etc. And with a local venture like TPC ready and willing to buy that stuff, I'm really shocked that they would just give it away.

Thanks all for the input. I think we are going to try TPC. It sounds like our kind of place. I like the idea of old park items. Should be a fun and unique afternoon.

I had no idea that place had an actual store to go in. I remember finding their ebay auctions when they were selling the full bedspreads from the refurbs.

Too bad we're staying onsite and flying in. I'd love to check this place out.

They used to have a smaller warehouse about a 20 minute drive north of the parks in Winter Garden,about 6-8 months ago or so they moved to a bigger warehouse real close to the Florida Mall.

We've been to the old store. We'll visit the new one in 2 weeks when we're down. I'm hoping the new place is air conditioned because it was hot as hell in the old place.

The old place was much smaller and had a cramped and honestly not so clean feel. The new warehouse is much cleaner and quite comfortable. There are a few good pictures up on their website.

We have been to both the old warehouse and the new one. My partner couldn't stay in the old warehouse due to the musty / moldy odor. However, the new place is great and we go every trip and spend several hours.
