DTD on Saturday?

Please help me decide on the best plan. we are going mid-August. I have MK planned for a Saturday, which is not recommended. We have 2 other MK days, Tues and Weds, which are recommended parks on those days. We are also going to MK on the evening we arrive and Sunday. I had originally thought of leaving MK on Weds and going to DTD. Now, I'm thinking maybe we should do DTD on Saturday, since MK is not recommended. Is DTD really crowded on Sat evening? We have never been there.

What would you do? Having never been to dtd or wdw in summer, I don't know.

DTD is really "congested" now because of the traffic related to the construction.

If it were me,I would do the Wednesday MK and catch a Port Orleans Riverside bus from MK and take a boat down the mighty Sassagoula to DTD from there and avoid trying to drive or take a bus.

thanks for the info. Let me add - we have dd11 and dd9. We were planning on going late afternoon/early evening, doing some shopping, looking around, etc.

I prefer MK on Saturday because of the EMH. I'd definitely avoid DTD on a Saturday. A lot of the local folks hit it hard on Saturday. I would if I lived there.
