Got the e-mail too! :)

Won't be able to use it, though. :(

I got it too! Unfortunately the only black out dates are MY dates, Dec 26 - Dec 31st! Shucks! :(

I've already booked my reservations for Marriott DTD for Dec. 7-Dec. 14.. The first two nights are $49, the next three nights are $20.03, and the last two nights are $69. Wonder if I can change the last two nights to the $49 rate? It would save me $40, which isn't a king's ransom, but it could buy something else, like a souvenier or character meal.

vhoffmann,

I certainly would call and ask. The $69 rate that you have is not one that you had to prepay and is non-refundable.

I know that *I* would call to inquire! :)

Good Luck! :)

We have ressies at the all star from 11/23-11/28 @ 87.00 a nite. We usually get the length of stay liking the part hoping and all the perks with that. My question is would it be worth it to try for the 49.00 rate and if I get it what would be the best ticket option. We are 2 adults 1 10 ds and 1 8 ds. Thank you.

Hi dbogen!

If you decide to stay off site, the I would buy the 5 day Park Hopper Plus. That will give you 5 days to visit the major parks. In addition, you will also get 2 Plus features - a visit to one of the water parks, Pleasure Island or Disney's Wide World of Sports. All of these things do NOT expire.
What the PHP does NOT include is Disney Quest. If multiple trips to Disney Quest are important to you, then your best bet is staying on site and getting the Ultimate Magic Pass (old Length of Stay.)
If you would like to go to DQ just once, then I suggest that you get a PHP and a single day admission to DQ. You can find these discounted at a few ticket brokers.
And be sure to take a look at the various threads on this board about the CbMarriott DD to read people's experiences there.
My family and I stayed there in August - we paid $20.03 S-Th and $67 Fr&Sat. We were generally very pleased, but there was a thing or two that we thought should be addressed by management. But not so much that we would not recommend this hotel to others.

Good luck! :)

Thanks for the reply. We have always done the all stars with the length of stay. We only discovered disney quest on out last full day 2 years ago. I wished we had found it earlier. So although the savings would be great I think we might just do on sight and hop thw whole time, the boys would be happy with typhoon lagoon the whole trip also. So thank you again Beth.
