We told our girls to wait till we got there to get LEGOS, thought they'd have awesome sets where you could build Disney stuff, you know. Boy were we disappointed when we went in the tent. Sign on the wall said that they are renovating the store, don't know how long the tent has been up, maybe they're almost finished.
I'll give an update when I get back.riopooh said:Its amazing what we worry about for these kids.
I feel so bad because about a month before Christmas, we were at Toys R us and he asked if he bought a present for his sister, could he spend some of his own money on something for himself. Little did I know he had squirreled away $80 dollars, picked out a $3 book for his sister and grabbed sevendifferent bionicles. I let him keep two but when Santa checked his stock a week later - they were all gone.
I just can't win!
Smart kid-he'll be a good negotiator when he grows up.Great. You just made me realize that I am going to have to play a game of "Drag the Kid" trying to get out of the store.tasassy said:I did think of a couple of good things about the Lego Store being closed---- won't have to drag my son out of there, and won't spend as much money, which gives ME more money to spend on the trolls in Norway!!!!! LOL
I hadnt thought of that.
