I am looking for a hotel that allows me ee priveledges and possibly has some suites? Any advice?

The only hotel in DTD that has EE privilages is the Hilton. I'm not sure about the suites, you might want to call them and find out.

You are mistaken... we have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in DTD, and we were afforded the same perks ( magical mornings and eticket nights) as the onsite resorts. I believe all of the resorts in DTD, not just the Hilton or Marriott give you those priveledges. The only differences are that you can't get your packages delivered to your rooms, the shuttles to and from the parks are not Disney transporation, you can't get the Unlimited Magic Pass, and you don't get free parking at the Parks.

I believe that back when it was called "early entry" that all the downtown disney resorts participated in it, but since it was taken away, and just recently brought back as the "extra magic hour", only the Hilton has seemed to make the deal with Disney to participate in this, and the descriptions on Expedia as well as talking to clerks at the Hilton seems to confirm this. If anyone has stayed at one of the other downtown disney hotels in the last few months and was sure they were offered the extra magic hour, come forward and update us of course - disney changes so frequently it's hard to keep up. I believe that the Hilton has a couple of suites, but not very many, so i'm sure you would have to call and check availability on those.

I found Magical Mornings mention on one of the websites. I think it was www.wdwig.com and only the Hilton was mentioned.

Misti,

If you go to the downtown disney web site that you listed, and click on the link to the Hilton, it mentions the "extra magic hour" on the Hilton page. If you click on the links to the other resorts' web pages, the the early entry is not mentioned. I'm not sure why the Hilton is the only one that is allowed to do the early entry- maybe Disney was asking a lot of money to participate in that or something, and the other hotels balked at it, who knows.

Thanks! :)

It's a shame they are all not included. But, like you said before, who knows. Disney could change its mind again.

That's one thing that Disney is known for, is changing it's mind :p
