DTD hotels with fireworks views?

Sadly, our travel schedule can't accommodate a trip to this parks, but we just can't stay away from WDW entirely. We're planning to spend an evening hanging out at DTD before our DCL cruise so we're looking at the hotels right around that area.

Which ones have views of the Disney fireworks? What do we have to do to request those views?

Thanks!

Julie

I've stayed in a fireworks view room at the DTD Wyndham (on Hotel Plaza Blvd.). Pretty far away but still a nice view. The Hilton across the street might also have them.

Also, just because you can't go to the parks doesn't mean you can't visit the resorts. You could always have dinner at the Polynesian and then watch the fireworks from the beach there.

We watched illuminations from our balcony at best western DTD when we had a Disney view booked..

really think that most of the DD hotels have a firework view - but they generally cost you extra.

If you go to BEach Club Resort you can see Illuminations. Then walk over to Boardwalk resort and view Wishes from right near the dock.

Or, if you want to view just Wishes, drove over to the TTC and watch them from the ferry boat dock or Polynesian. Or go to the Contemporary and view them from there.

The Hilton DD does have rooms that you can view the fireworks. It's just not the same though looking out the window. I would take the suggestions here and try to get a little closer.

Is the music to the fireworks show piped in at the beach? Is there anywhere else that includes music to fireworks show, just so we have a back up plan?

Yes, it is. Also music is piped in at the Contemporary, the ferry dock at the TTC and the Grand Floridian. We watched once from the Fort Wilderness campground, and I believe it was piped in there also, but don't quote me on that.
