DTD Hotels...which do you recommend?

Planning a trip for this coming NYE for my birthday! Any suggestions as the best resort? We're leaning towards Hilton. Any help would be more than appreciated!

Buena Vista Palace. Just got home an hour ago. See my thread w/ my review!

I would say the Hilton or the Buena Vista Palace, both nice hotels.

For NYE the BIG advantage the Hilton has over any other DTD hotel is that you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. As far as I know it's the only DTD with that right and considering how busy it will be that might be worth something.

Thanks for the replies! I get the best deal at the Royal Plaza Palms or whatever it's called but the EMH at Hilton is a good idea. I'm going to look into the AAA diff. between the 2.

Hotel Royal Plaza is also a nice place to stay at DTD.
I would also recommend Hilton or Buena Vista Palace.

If you choose BVP, ask for a higher floor with a fireworks view.

Just got back. Hilton first night, 6 nights at POP, then Hilton last night.

Great room, beds slept great, two really nice pools with cushioned lounge chairs and literally a hop across the street and we were in DTD by the Toy Store. Hotel has Disney Store, Starbucks, Ice Cream, several restaurants, two pools, hot tubs, great bar/ pool table, and the Disney perks although we didn't need them. Night one a view of the DTD main hub, then night two a view of MK and we watched the fireworks. Will go back.

And if you are Gold Honors or above you have Executive Lounge, continental breakfast, snacks and drinks all day, appetizers in evening and cash bar.
