I was looking at the water bottles on another thread and found this. $99 for one night for either a king or two doubles and a $50 restaurant.com certificate is a pretty good deal and you can buy multiples. There's an additional $5.95 per night processing fee plus tax and the hotel's resort fee and you have to book through the link provided, but you can confirm availability before buying the deal. We just came back from the World a few weeks ago and don't have another trip planned until next year, but I thought someone else could use this. :-)

The Resort Fee is $12.78 per night including tax. The tax on the $99 room is $12.38 and last time I looked parking was $8 per night for Swolphon Guests.

Misleading advertising.

Wyndham or Hilton dtd.

I have to agree. The Hilton DTD is my pick! :thumbsup2

It is in walking distance from DTD, and it has a character breakfast on Sundays.

If it were the Swan or Dolphin, I would bite, but the Hilton (while really nice) would be fine. $99 at the Swan/Dolphin would make me buy.

:thumbsup2

I think parking is now up to $11/night, that is what we were quoted for self parking, $15 for valet.

You can get the Hilton DTD on Last Minute Travel for usually under $80 unless it's a peak time. However, you don't get a restaurant.com certificate with it :). But w/ an 80% off code, you could buy that from restaurant.com probably for less than $10.

Ad says EMH. early morning hours for WDW is only the swan and dolphin right?

hmmmmmmmmm

I believe that the Hilton also offers EMH as a perk. Yes, the Swan/Dolphin offers it as well. :thumbsup2

It is an interesting promotion. I would do it, but like a pp has said. You can get those cheaper even with the restaurant.com promotion.

The OP really should change the title. This hotel is clearly not the Swan/Dolphin. Swan and Dolphin is no where near DTD. Hilton DTD does have EMH (like several have mentioned) and IS walking distance (across the street from) to DTD.

The on property resorts that are not Disney, can pay to participate in the Extra Magic Hours as a perk for their guests. Most of the DTD resorts do not do this, as to help keep the room costs down for the guests. And there are a few select places for character dining that are not in Disney parks or resorts, however, they do not do these as often. Usually like every saturday morning, rather than every day of the week. Again it's a cost the hotel pays to lure in guests to those resorts.

This is definitely the Hilton. I wish that they had offered this when we went. I wanted the Hilton but it cost too much.

I also posted about this deal on the thread about the water bottles. (and posted a note about it). I searched and it looks like the deal is at the Hilton Orlando Resort Lake Buena Vista.

Here's the desc. on Expedia

Near theme parks
Set on 23 acres overlooking Downtown Disney® area, this 10-story hotel in lake Buena Vista is 1 mile from Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, 3 miles from Epcot®, and 7 miles from the Magic Kingdom® Park.
Extra Magic Hours
Guests at Hilton Orlando Resort Lake Buena Vista enjoy complimentary and continuous transportation to Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, Extra Magic Hours at selected Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, and preferred tee times at certain golf courses.

Here is it on Savemore
Located inside of the Walt Disney World Resort, this luxurious retreat sits on 23 acres overlooking Downtown Disney. You cannot find a better location for your Disney World vacation as this hotel offers complimentary transportation to all Walt Disney World theme parks. This hotel offers the unbeatable Extra Magic Hours benefit, as one of the Walt Disney World theme park opens an hour early or stays open an hour after closing, allowing hotel guests extra time at one of the parks. This is a rare opportunity to experience Disney World with shorter lines in a relaxed atmosphere.

This newly renovated 10-story hotel has unmatched spacious accommodations with pillow-top mattresses, down duvets and hypoallergenic pillows. If you need a break from rides and Disney characters, there are many on-site leisure activities including a complimentary fitness center, two heated outdoor pools, a tropical spa hot tub, children’s spray pool, poolside bar and arcade room. There are seven amazing and diverse restaurants on site, including a 24-hour market, Italian bistro, steakhouse and sports bar. Kids are in for a special treat on Sunday mornings as Disney characters join guests for breakfast at an on-site restaurant.

Looks like perfect fit to me. And not a bad rate as I did a quick price check. We are staying at POP so I'm not thinking of changing but it you aren't staying onsite (to get free DDP etc. ) this looks like a pretty good option. However, they do charge $10/day for parking. :confused3
