DTD check-in for virgin flights

I did notice that first class and premium were checking in heavier cases. Couldn't believe how much luggage some people take.

ANY passenger flying on the Virgin Atlantic flights can use the DTD checkin, whether booked direct with Virgin atlantic, or one of the travel companies, Virgin holidays, TCD, or any travel agrent.

VH have an agreement with VA that their passengers do not pay for DTD checkin. This INCLUDES passengers booked with TCD as its classed as part of VH

If you are flying with VA or booked through another travel agent there is a charge, unless you are
a) Flying Upper Class
b) are a Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold card holder.

Is DTD checkin still free for Virgin Holiday bookings? I seem to think I remember seeing somewhere the charge was now £10. In past years we have always been given a voucher for free DTD checkin but never used it. This year we are planning on using it.

We used it on Friday and it was great for us and free as a virgin holidays customer

We used this last year - we got there early (7.30ish) and were first in Prem eco line. They must have opened earlier as we got a taxi straight from DTD to Seaworld and were walking in there at 8.30. It was great - normally I can't settle until all checked in but we had a fab last day. Will certainly do it again next year !
