DTD after hours, bus or ferry to POFQ?

I am taking a girls trip w/my three best friends. We plan to stay at DTD, Pleasure Island for the night life. Has anyone taken the transportation back to the resort after hours and after having a good time. My concern is that all though my girlfriends and I are well behaved grown women , I don't want us to offend families or children on our way back to the resort. Sure we may get a bit sassy after a few , but I a hoping that we will have shared company. Any experience?

I know the OKW ferry stops running about 9:30, I don't know about POFQ.

Edit - according to allearsnet, it stops running at 11:00pm. How good a time were you planning to have?

My late night bus from PI travels have actually been early morning travels as in 1:00 - 2:00 am. At that time, there are no kids or families around. Though as above poster mentioned, I don't believe the ferry is running at that time, I believe you'd have to take the bus. Going in the "slow" season, the busses have been nearly empty at that time of the morning. There was one lady, who may have been in the state you describe. In the state I was in, it was hilarious watching her. Go, have a good time. If you stay late enough, you won't offend anyone!
